What and why at m o r i s e n a ?
::: morisena projects aim at raising interest among the local
youth in travelling, contemporary art, ecology, organic farming, the potential of
tradition and crafts as resources for self sustainability.
::: We seek to practice a healthy, happy and responsible attitude towards our own body and mind,
towards our fellow travelers and towards the surrounding nature and culture. The idea is
to propose projects as a
context for exploring a local culture while living in a small community.
::: The initiative got born out of love for travelling and exploring cultures,
working together and sharing knowledge, customs and ways of life. It is a personal initiative of Iuliana
Varodi,
after twelve years of living, working and travelling abroad. The first
projects in Transylvania (2007) have been set up with the generous support of family, friends, volunteers and local companies.
