Renovating the location  :::: May - June 2007

In May, Dutch architects Harm Timmermans and Stijn Kemper, kindly supported by Fonds BKVB  did an amazing work to design the changes that would make the house suitable for morisena projects. Next to some practical adjustments to the kitchen and the bathroom, the main focus was on the attic, which was not being used yet. The idea was to make it into a multifunctional loft-like space. By opening the roof with two roof lights we get natural light inside and lovely views onto the Transylvanian landscape. In the back a large roof terrace is created, which can be directly accessed from the garden. This connects the house with the landscape.

In June 2007, the renovation work took place, executed by a building company contracted by the house owner.
